Surprised that you left out another objection: to argue that pregnancy is a sufficient deterrent to sex is to assume that vaginal intercourse is the only kind of sex.
Agree with most of this but I wouldn’t be so sure that women’s orgasm doesn’t have anything to do with reproduction. After all, it has survived over the millennia of evolution - presumably women who were capable of orgasms were somewhat more likely to reproduce (for whatever reason) hence why we have this trait at all.
I think traditional sexual morality has a lot to say to people today, including people who have non-traditional relationships.
"To have gay sex is to have sex for pleasure."
I think that diminishes what sex can be, even for gay people. The happiest people, including gay people, are ones who are in committed long-term relationships. "Man is not meant to be alone." Sex that strengthens that bond is generally more fruitful than sex where you use someone else for your pleasure (often dressed up as "two consenting adults having a good time").
Isn't the rate of polyamory/extramarital sex much higher for gay men than for any other sexual orientation? Now, that might be part of a committed long-term relationship, but it is certainly different from "traditional sexual morality" (which, to be clear, I think has plenty going for it).
There's a reason bisexual women are highly sought after by straight men, it's much easier to arrange threesomes or a polyamorous situation when everyone is attracted to everyone else.
