The Argument is hiring!
Join our editorial team as an Editor or Fellow!
Are you interested in working with us at The Argument? We’re hiring for multiple roles:
Editor
We’re looking for an Editor to help shape The Argument’s editorial voice and expand its reach — cultivating writers, thinkers, and academics who can bring fresh, data-driven, and persuasive arguments to our audience, particularly from right-liberal journalists, commentators, academics, and advocates.
If you’re energized by debate, fluent in the ideas shaping the American right, and eager to help build a new liberal institution from the ground up, this role is for you.
More details on the role and instructions on how to apply can be found here.
The Argument Fellowship
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of The Argument Fellowship, a yearlong, full-time program designed to train the next generation of opinion journalists. This new initiative from The Argument, in partnership with Johns Hopkins University’s School of Government and Policy, combines rigorous editorial mentorship with high-level instruction on politics, policy, and culture.
If you’re an early-career writer eager to learn how to make persuasive, idea-driven journalism — and help advance the case for liberalism — this is for you.
